About the role:\nMJD Stems are looking for a proactive and personable IT Support Apprentice to join their growing team. In this hands-on role, youâll be the first point of contact for clients and helping them keep their IT systems running smoothly. Youâll troubleshoot a wide range of technical issuesâfrom hardware and software to cloud servicesâvia our service desk located at Nether Dallachy and on-site visits across Scotland. As a Managed Service Provider (MSP), our work is fast-paced and varied. One day you might be configuring Microsoft 365, the next installing a firewall or assisting with a network rollout. Plus, regular team socials and the occasional office dog visit!\n\nFuture prospects:\n90% of QA apprentices secure permanent employment after completing: this is 20% higher than the national average.\n â¢\tFirst-line support: Diagnose and resolve Tier 1 and 2 support tickets for desktops,\nlaptops, servers, and mobile devices running Windows 11, macOS, and Microsoft 365\nâ¢\tMicrosoft Entra / Azure AD: Administer users, groups, and access permissions\nSupport cloud identity issues such as login problems and MFA setup\nâ¢\tCustomer service: Provide friendly, professional support via phone, email, and on-site.\nCommunicate technical solutions clearly to users of all skill levels\nâ¢\tOn-site visits: Travel to client offices across Scotland to resolve urgent issues, perform\nmaintenance, or assist with project rollouts (pool car provided)\nâ¢\tTicketing & documentation: Use ConnectWise PSA to log issues, track progress, and\ndocument resolutions.
