This role is suitable for QTS-qualified teachers, ECTs, and experienced cover supervisors or teaching assistants with strong English subject knowledge. ✍️ The Role As an English Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging and well-structured English lessons across KS3 and KS4 Teach English Language and Literature, fostering a love of reading and writing Support students in developing reading comprehension, creative writing, and analytical skills Provide effective classroom cover when required Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students Maintain positive behaviour management and a safe, inclusive learning environment The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: Holds QTS or has relevant classroom experience teaching English Is confident teaching English at KS3–KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential) Has strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for literacy and learning Is reliable, adaptable, and proactive Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to apply) ⭐ Why Work with Protocol Education?
