As one of our Home Delivery Drivers, you’ll be the special ingredient that delivers everything our online customers shopped at Sainsbury’s for.
* You must be over 18 and have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on it.
* You will complete an online driving risk assessment as part of your interview, and if successful, there will be a driving assessment when you join us.
* You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.
What you’ll be doing:
* Driving a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries to customers' doorsteps, on time and in good condition.
* Completing checks to ensure the van is organized, clean, roadworthy, and that delivery cases are secure before driving safely in various locations and conditions.
* Serving customers effectively, supporting with questions and substitutions, and informing them of any delays.
* Building knowledge about our products, services, and promotions to assist with recommendations.
* Assisting in-store when not making deliveries.
