Reporting tothe Head of EPR, you will lead the Applications Team and be responsible for thesupport, configuration, optimisation and development of the Trust's ElectronicPatient Record (EPR) systems and associated clinical applications.
You will provide technical leadership, manage complexincidents, oversee system testing and upgrades, and work closely with clinical,operational and digital teams to deliver improvements that enhance patient careand staff experience. This role is ideal for an experienced healthcareapplications specialist looking to enhance their leadership skills whilsthelping shape the Trust's digital future.

Main duties of the job
As the Application Specialist Lead, you will play a key rolein ensuring the Trust's Electronic Patient Record (EPR) systems and associatedclinical applications support the delivery of safe, effective patient care.Leading a team of Application Specialists, you will provide day-to-dayleadership, technical guidance and support.You will oversee the support, configuration, optimisation and development ofclinical systems, ensuring they remain reliable, secure and aligned to theneeds of services across the Trust. Working closely with clinical, operationaland digital colleagues, you will identify opportunities to improve digitalprocesses and maximise the benefits of our systems.As a subject matter expert, you will lead the resolution of complex systemissues, oversee testing and implementation activities, and ensure robustgovernance processes are followed to maintain patient safety and servicecontinuity. You will also work closely with suppliers and stakeholders tosupport the successful delivery of digital projects and strategic initiatives.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced healthcare applicationsspecialist looking to further develop their leadership skills whilst helpingshape the future of digital healthcare.
