Overview
The Cover Supervisor supports the effective operation of the trust and works to uphold and promote its vision and values. To enable the provision of learning to continue in the absence of the teacher normally responsible for teaching a particular class, by utilising pre-prepared lesson plans. To manage effectively the behaviour of students, and where no cover duties are required, to undertake activities to assist teachers in the delivery of the curriculum. To assist the Head of Department in any other duties as are reasonable (Trips etc.).
Responsibilities
* Support the effective operation of the trust and promote its vision and values.
* Provide learning continuation in the absence of the designated teacher using pre-prepared lesson plans.
* Manage student behaviour and, when not covering lessons, undertake activities to assist teachers in delivering the curriculum.
* Assist the Head of Department with reasonable duties (e.g., trips).
