Community Healthcare Support Worker Role
Responsibilities include:
* Wound care, pressure damage prevention and treatment
* Venepuncture
* ANT (Advanced Nurse Triage)
* Physiological observations
* Medicines management
* Catheter care
* Care of PEG/RIG
* Complex stoma care
* End of life/palliative care
An exciting opportunity has arisen for motivated Community Healthcare Support Workers to join our busy Home Support Team. Based within the new Hospital at Home department alongside the Porth Preseli Coordination Centre, we cover Pembrokeshire over a 24-hour period.
You will be supported by a Team Lead and junior staff. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, flexibility, good time management, and relevant up-to-date skills. An interest in reablement, complex care, palliative care, and community care is desirable. Evidence of mandatory training is also preferred.
