Eden Scott’s client is seeking Investment Operation Assistant Manager to Join a dynamic, multi-jurisdictional team in Edinburgh, delivering high-quality services to a large portfolio of private client structures/entities for a single client. This role involves managing complex investments preparation of financial statement review, and automated reconciliation oversight, among others.
As the Assistant Manager, you will support the manager in ensuring the team delivers services efficiently and on schedule. You’ll tackle complex tasks, manage your workload independently, and provide support to team members. The role also involves working closely with clients, resolving queries, and ensuring the highest level of service.
Main Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate client data, including transactions, records, and financial statements.
* Raise and resolve queries promptly, coordinating with team members and clients.
* Prepare complex client information such as financial statements.
* Review information prepared by the team to support the manager.
* Participate in client meetings and assist the manager in tracking deliverables.
* Mentor junior team members and ensure adherence to operational guidelines and procedures.
Person Specification
* Financial Services Experience is essential for the role
* Experience in supporting a team
* Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
* Good numeracy and proficiency in IT, especially Excel.
* Ethical mindset with a strong sense of integrity.
* Proactive and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
