Job Title: Embroidery Machine Operative
Location: Shipley, BD18
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: National Minimum Wage
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
About The Role
We are currently recruiting for an Embroidery Machine Operative to join a growing team based in Shipley (BD18). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in sewing machine use who is looking to develop new skills in a supportive environment. Full training will be provided on embroidery machines.
Key Responsibilities Of Embroidery Machine Operative
* Operate industrial embroidery machines to complete customer orders.
* Follow order instructions accurately, including thread colours, placements, and garment types.
* Use computer-based embroidery software (training provided).
* Inspect garments for accuracy and quality before and after embroidery.
* Maintain a clean and tidy workspace.
* Assist with packing and general duties as required.
Requirements
* Previous experience using a sewing machine (domestic or industrial).
* High attention to detail - quality and precision are essential.
* Basic to medium computer skills - able to navigate simple software and input data.
* Ability to read and understand order forms.
* Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a small team.
