About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a global leader in warehouse automation and logistics solutions, for a Senior Sales Manager to join their UK Logistics Solutions team. This role focuses on leading the sales process for complex automation projects across the UK. You will work with well‑known online, retail, food, and manufacturing organisations, managing consultative, project‑based sales and collaborating closely with internal technical teams to deliver tailored automation solutions with clear commercial value. This role offers strong progression opportunities within the automation sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the sales process for complex automation projects from initial contact to contract.
* Identify and develop new business opportunities within your region.
* Build strong customer relationships through meetings, workshops, and ongoing communication.
* Produce high-quality proposals, presentations, and commercial submissions.
* Work cross‑functionally with internal teams to develop concepts, pricing, and bids.
Requirements
* Degree qualified (2:1 preferred) or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience within the warehouse automation or complex technical sales sector.
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage long sales cycles.
* Confident communicator with excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Willingness to travel across the UK with a full, clean driving licence.
