# Communications Support Officer## Job IntroductionThe Opportunity You will help us tell the story of LFR, supporting the planning and delivery of engaging content for our employees, stakeholders, and the diverse communities we serve. From managing social media campaigns to designing digital assets, you will play a key part in driving advocacy and engagement across the county. * Content Creation: Design and deliver compelling written, visual, and video content for digital platforms (social media, web) and traditional print media.* Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships across service areas and partner agencies, representing LFR at meetings and events.* Digital Presence: Support the management and delivery of social media channels (including X, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn) and ensure the LFR intranet remains accurate and up to date. What we’re looking for You should possess: * Flexibility: While primarily office-based, there will be scope for working from home after a settling in period. This is a unique chance to contribute to a high-performing emergency service. You will have the opportunity to join innovative projects, advise on best practices, and gain experience in public sector communications.
