Job Description
We're looking for an Electrical Supervisor to join our Natural Resources Team working on our Thames Water framework.
Location: You'll travel to sites as required across the northern Thames Valley patch.
Contract: Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part-time hours may be available if desired, just let us know.
Responsibilities
We are seeking an Electrical Supervisor to work within our Wastewater Asset Assurance Programme (WAAP). As an Electrical Working Site Supervisor, you will carry out hands-on electrical installation works on Thames Water sites for both permanent and temporary installs, supervise other Kier electricians ensuring their works meet standards, and carry out electrical inspection and testing.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Installation of low-voltage electrical systems, including temporary and permanent works, containment systems, power and control cables, and testing of installations.
* Supervising Kier electricians and mates, providing mentorship to electrical apprentices.
* Supporting the development of commissioning documentation, including outage management plans.
* Producing electrical RAMS for Kier electrical installation works and reviewing Electrical contractor RAMS.
* Reviewing and signing off project ITPs, ensuring management through Kier’s common data environment.
What are we looking for?
This Electrical Supervisor role is ideal if you have:
* Proven industry experience in the Water Industry in a similar role.
* Relevant JIB Gold Card / ECS card and C&G 2330 or 2360 in electrical installations.
* Knowledge of IEE 18th edition wiring regs and C&G 2391 Inspect and Test.
* Good understanding of sewage and water treatment processes, systems, and typical M&E plant/equipment.
* A Full UK Driving Licence.
