Are you a passionate and talented Art specialist looking for an exciting teaching opportunity?
We are seeking a creative and dynamic Art teacher to join our secondary school team in Horsham. This full-time role is set to begin at the end of April and will run until the end of the school year.
Position: Art Specialist (Full-time) Location: Secondary School, Horsham Start Date: End of April 2025 End Date: End of the school year (July 2025)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality Art lessons to students across various year groups.
2. Plan, prepare, and assess creative and engaging Art curriculums.
3. Foster a positive and inspiring learning environment.
4. Support students in developing their artistic skills and creativity.
5. Collaborate with other departments and staff to enhance the students’ educational experience.
Requirements:
6. Recent experience teaching Art in a secondary school setting.
7. Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
8. Strong knowledge of Art techniques, principles, and the secondary school curriculum.
9. Ability to engage and inspire students of diverse abilities.
10. Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Experience, Training and Qualifications
20. GCSE’s or equivalent
21. Minimum 1 year working with children
22. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
Eligibility
23. Hold Right to Work in the UK
24. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
25. Provide two professional child related references
