TEKEVER Defence develops and delivers innovative capabilities for the defence market, focusing on supporting NATO partners. The role is within TEKEVER Defence’s growing Operations team, supporting active deployments worldwide.
Job Overview
As a Field Service Technician, you will support flight operations by performing UAV system modifications, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will operate in complex environments, provide feedback for product improvement, and solve problems to ensure customer satisfaction. You will work at least 3 days a week in South West England when not deployed.
Responsibilities
* Perform UAV system modifications, hardware integrations, and troubleshooting
* Conduct installations and maintenance at various client locations
* Collaborate with engineers to ensure seamless integration of new systems
* Support development and delivery of training materials for clients in diverse environments
* Provide technical support on-site and remotely
Candidate Profile and Requirements
* Experience with UAV systems, avionics, electronics, or mechanical engineering
* Hands-on experience with UAV modifications and integrations
* Strong problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and in teams
* Ability to operate in remote or hostile conditions
* Excellent communication skills; fluent in English; additional languages like Portuguese are a plus
* A1 and A3 certificates (CAA/EASA)
* Good knowledge of maths and physics
* Technical degree or certification in UAV systems, electronics, or related fields
* Experience in field service or technical support roles, preferably in aerospace
* Relevant UAV operation and safety certifications are desirable
* Military or aviation experience is advantageous but not required
* Eligible for SC clearance and willing to undergo vetting; UK work authorization required
