About the Role
We are supporting a global organisation in the appointment of a Security Solutions & Automation Lead to drive process improvement, automation, and data-led decision making across their EMEA security operations.
This is not a traditional security role.
Instead, this position is focused on modernising how security services are delivered-using automation, analytics, and systems thinking to improve efficiency, visibility, and performance across multiple sites.
You will work closely with operational teams to identify inefficiencies, design scalable solutions, and implement smarter workflows using Microsoft technologies and AI-enabled tools.

2. Build and optimise automation using Power Automate and Microsoft 365 tools
3. Apply a solutions / architect mindset to understand how systems interact and design scalable improvements
4. Support the evolution of the Regional Security Operations Centre (RSOC) through improved processes and data visibility
5. Design and develop dashboards, KPIs, and reporting using Power BI
6. Analyse operational data to identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities
7. Work with stakeholders to prioritise initiatives based on impact and risk
8. Lead rollout of new tools and processes, ensuring clear communication and adoption
9. Manage projects and workstreams across multiple stakeholders using tools such as Smartsheet
10. Explore and apply AI tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot) to improve workflows and reporting
