Quilter Cheviot are looking for an Office Administration Apprentice to join their team. The successful applicant will be the first point of contact for clients, carry out general office co-ordination and supply activities as well as overseeing the smooth running of the office alongside the Leadership Team. Responsibilities will include the following: Support and co-ordinate client events, showing active engagement in team/office/business activities. Develop internal and external relationships to ensure smooth running of the office, including maintenance of facilities and services. Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access. Support the office Leadership Team in arranging team meetings and 121s as required. Manage & screen client queries, ensuring enquiries are directed to and handled by the necessary individuals. Engage in team/office/business wide events and socials. Maintain agreed office attendance to ensure good team presence in regional office. Individuals expected office attendance to be agreed with line manager. Adopt a resilient mindset by embracing change. Work toward a solution-focused environment by taking ownership of ideas and improvements. Proactive management of own workload and asking for support where needed. Skills Required: To succeed in this post you will need to be organised, proactive and assertive. You must have a confident, clear and professional communication style. Working well in a team is important, specifically within the Cumbria & Scotland regional office as the team is very close-knit and often collaborate to produce results. Working individually and managing your own workload (along with your teams’ financial planners) will also be required as part of the role.
