Planning Enforcement Officer needed in Nuneaton, £45ph PAYE

Must be able and willing to travel throughout the borough.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in delivering the planning enforcement service, including:
* Investigation of complaints and alleged breaches of planning control, including site inspections, visits, observations, and interviews.
* Maintain accurate records of site visits and evidence collected.
* Advise alleged offenders and complainants on planning and enforcement procedures, including complaint progress, in line with policies and protocols.
* Deal with discharges of conditions and monitor development implementation.
1. Provide advice and information to the public and other customers on enforcement matters via phone, in person, by letter, and through reports to legal services.
2. Conduct interviews and record statements under caution, adhering to relevant legislation such as the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984.
3. Draft and serve enforcement notices, including Planning Contravention Notices, Breach of Condition Notices, Requisition for Information, Enforcement Notices, Temporary Stop Notices, and Stop Notices.
4. Prepare and present factual evidence at planning hearings, inquiries, and court proceedings.
