We have a fantastic opportunity for a Fire Risk Management Consultant to join our growing Fire Safety team in our London and South East office.
The Team – Our Fire Safety Division
Our Fire Safety team has earned a reputation for delivering technically excellent work and responsiveness. Our large, expanding team is winning new projects across regional and national clients.
Our Fire Safety Division operates in all regional capitals within England, Wales, and Scotland, including Bristol, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, London, Newcastle, Birmingham, Manchester, Plymouth, and Stoke-on-Trent.
We provide services from concept to construction, helping optimise design and ensure compliance for complex buildings across various sectors including public, residential, commercial, industrial, and high hazard processes. Our services span site appraisal, planning, design, and delivery.
The Role
Join our Fire Risk Management team in London & South East. This role offers development opportunities within a vibrant, engaged team, supporting business growth and project delivery.
You will work remotely with daily travel across your region, occasional visits to your nominated office, and potential overnight stays for isolated projects or training.
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years' experience in fire risk management
* Experience conducting pre and post inspections with a Level 3 Fire Qualification or equivalent
* Passion for fire risk management, with focus on safety and end-user experience
* Minimum Technician membership of the Institute of Fire Engineers, aiming for Member status (MIFireE)
* Membership or willingness to enroll in a recognised industry accreditation scheme (e.g., Fire Risk Assessors)
* Knowledge of current codes, standards, regulations, and materials
* Experience in fire risk assessments, including high hazard and multi-site portfolios
* Excellent communication and report-writing skills
* Understanding of active/passive fire protection systems and external wall systems
* Project management skills and ability to manage workloads effectively
Desirable attributes include experience with app-based technology, assessing external wall systems, and innovative fire risk solutions.
