We’re looking for a Dental Clinical Negligence Team Leader to guide, inspire and drive the success of our specialist dental team. In this pivotal role, you’ll shape the performance of a growing department committed to delivering outstanding outcomes for clients and upholding Fletchers’ reputation for excellence. You’ll lead by example—coaching, developing and empowering your team while ensuring we consistently deliver first‑class legal services. What You’ll Be Doing Strategic Leadership Deliver departmental plans across the team to meet Fletchers’ priorities. Champion excellent customer service at every stage of the client journey. Ensure the team achieves performance targets and delivers against “The Pitch.” Support budgeting and financial planning for the Clinical Negligence department. Drive high‑quality case planning, file management and ESD compliance to support financial goals. People & Team Management Lead and manage team members with clarity, confidence and compassion. Coach, develop and support colleagues to achieve their full potential. Promote strong management behaviours and a positive, collaborative team culture. Foster a “cradle to grave” approach, supporting continuous professional growth. Technical Expertise Provide expert guidance on all aspects of Dental Clinical Negligence. Ensure cases progress efficiently, with exceptional client satisfaction. Work closely with senior leadership to deliver compliant, high‑quality legal services and unrivalled customer care. What we're looking for: Proven experience leading or managing within a Clinical Negligence team (Dental experience highly valued). Hands-on experience running a broad range of Clinical Negligence claims. A passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Strong understanding of how to enhance team productivity and performance. Experience coaching and developing legal professionals. Resilient, positive leadership with strong role‑model behaviours. Confidence using technology to enhance legal delivery. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability.
