ABOUT THE ROLE
Your main responsibility as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support the Care team in delivering high standards of personal care, creating a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, noting any changes impacting care and updating care plans accordingly.
* Participating in person-centred care planning, including implementation and monthly evaluations.
* Supporting residents with medication management.
* Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development.
* Serving as a key point of contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and healthcare professionals, ensuring requests are addressed and concerns are escalated appropriately.
ABOUT YOU
To succeed in this role, you should embody our values of caring, supportiveness, honesty, respect, and accountability.
Our ideal candidate will:
* Hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
* Have at least 2 years of experience in a similar care environment.
* Be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Possess a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
* Be adaptable and responsive to a range of responsibilities.
