Electrical Supervisor / Lead Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We are recruiting for an Electrical Supervisor to join a well-established but growing manufacturing business operating within a heavy industrial environment. This is a key leadership role within the maintenance team where you will lead and develop the electrical function on site, driving continuous improvement, compliance and reliability across plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a champion for electrical improvements.
* Lead and deliver electrical improvement projects (planning, budgeting & execution).
* Apply preventative & predictive maintenance practices to improve plant reliability.
* Identify & highlight long-term plant risks - support senior management with repair & investment plans.
* Monitor completion and quality of electrical tasks (audits and spot checks).
* Identify skills gaps within the team and implement development plans.
* Support team retention.
* Ensure all statutory electrical inspections are completed in line with legislation and follow-up actions closed out.
* Conduct weekly safety briefings and participate in near miss reporting and safety actions.
Skills & Experience Required
* 18th Edition qualified.
* Proven experience within a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
* Management or supervisory experience.
* Strong knowledge of high-voltage infrastructure.
* Experience with ATEX and DSEAR regulations.
* Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motor circuits, electricity and electronics.
* PLC systems knowledge and experience.
* Experience using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
* Financial management and budget control experience.
* Strong understanding of engineering and business principles.
* NEBOSH or IOSH qualification (preferred).
