Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a skilled Mechanical / Structural Draughtsperson / Project Engineer to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
* Create accurate technical drawings and plans using CAD software in line with project specifications.
* Collaborate with engineers and designers to collect project requirements and incorporate feedback into designs.
* Prepare schematics and layouts for mechanical and structural steelwork.
* Utilize software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD to produce high-quality drafts.
* Review and revise drawings based on client or team feedback to maintain accuracy.
* Organize and manage a database of drafts and revisions for easy team access.
* Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Relevant mechanical or structural engineering qualification.
* Proficient in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
* Solid understanding of structural and engineering principles related to drafting.
* High attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents effectively.
* Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
* Problem-solving capabilities to address design issues as they arise.
* Experience in building design or related fields is advantageous.
