Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Worthing, West Sussex

We are working on behalf of a fantastic independent veterinary practice in Worthing, West Sussex who are expanding and require a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join both their clinical practice and hospital teams. This role is full time for 40 hours per week over 4 days with shifts between 7:30am and 8pm, along with weekends on a rota.
The practice are looking for an ambitious and forward driven Vet to work alongside their highly experienced team. In particular they are looking for someone who has solid all round GP skills with a good level of surgical and medical experience.

The role would involve working in their branch surgery in Worthing. They have two main hospitals and 4 branches all together which offer a wide range of modern veterinary services. Over the years the practice branch has continued to grow and develop and provides a family style close-knit working environment and they enjoy boding with their clients and providing a high level of care.
The OOH service is provided by their sister service which offers emergency and hospital care to not only the practice but other practices within the surrounding area.
The Vet will be working alongside a highly experienced team within the branch and also with the additional support of the two Hospitals. The role will involve consultations, surgeries, and investigations.

About you:
They practice are looking for an ambitious and driven Vet and someone who has solid GP skills. Thye will need to be confident in medical and surgical procedures. Areas of special interest and study towards certificate would be encouraged and supported.
The Vet will be passionate about providing a high level of clinical care for patients and also for clients. For an experienced Vet they must be surgically competent with excellent communication skills. They will have a personable and empathetic attitude and build client relationships easily and offer case continuity for clients.
Package:
10. Salary: £45, to £65, per annum, commensurate to experience
