We are seeking to recruit a part-time Professional Placements Administrator to join our education placements team within the School of Education, Sport & Health Sciences, which has been judged by Ofsted in April 2024 as an Outstanding provider for Initial Teacher Training.
In this pivotal role, your organisational skills and proactive approach will help ensure our students receive seamless support during their setting-based training placements. You will administer the placement process for students in accordance with professional and statutory requirements. Using your customer service experience, you will be the first point of contact for our partner schools and students, communicating effectively through correspondence and other communications.
To be successful, you should have:
* The skills to build networks and maintain positive working relationships
* Confidence working independently and within a team
* Good customer service experience, including excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work quickly and accurately
* Solid IT skills, especially across the MS Office suite
Hours: 18.5 hours per week. Days and times will be agreed with the individual; our preferred pattern includes working some hours on Monday and Tuesday, as this post forms part of a job share.
