Field Service Engineer – Forklift Truck Maintenance and Repair Job description Our client is the authorised Cesab dealer for Leicestershire, Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced field service engineer to join their forward thinking team to help their business achieve our ambitious growth plans. Working on customers sites and at our clients’ workshop, your role will be interesting and varied. Along with the ongoing requirement for servicing and preventative maintenance work, you will be expected to be able to carry out diagnosis and subsequent repair work to both clients and the clients’ own equipment as well as carrying out thorough examination inspections. Duties will be as follows: Servicing, preventative maintenance and repair of both company owned and customer forklift trucks ensuring unscheduled repairs are minimised. Provide clear information regarding equipment, service, repair or inspection status and to advise actions that may be required to maintain the equipment. Liaison with the parts department to ensure appropriate repairs are carried out to the required time frames. Completion of documentation to company standards Work within Health & Safety requirements at all time.
