We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Wolverhampton, West Midlands for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This is a full or part time for 14 to 40 hours per week, along with 1 in 4 Saturdays. There are no OOH work or on-call duties.

14. Team: 3 vets, 5 RVNs, 2 SVNs and 2 VCAs
The role

16. The role offers a mixture of consultations and surgeries.
17. The practice are able to support a Vet who would like to start working towards a certificate in surgery or imaging.
18. The role offers a varied caseload from routine surgeries to orthopaedic surgeries.
19. The Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service.
20. The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients.

About you
31. They are looking for a Vet who has a surgical bias and ideally looking g to complete a certificate in surgery or imaging.
32. A Vet who is comfortable with some sole charge work would be an advantage but not essential to the role.
33. The Vet will be a team player, with good interpersonal skills and be able to establish strong working relationships.
34. The vet will have excellent communications skills and a compassionate attitude along with excellent client facing skills.
35. The Vet will always maintain a high standard of clinical care and always willing to go that extra mile for patients.
Package
36. Salary: Up to £63, pro rata, commensurate to experience
37. Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave, increasing with service and birthday off
38. CPD: Generous allowance of £1, with 5 days paid
