Live in or live out Housekeeper Job in West Sussex, near Petersfield
A formal family are looking for a switched-on, experienced and organised housekeeper for their estate near Petersfield.
You would be working alongside the other staff in the household, so this role would suit someone who enjoys working within a team. The family also employ a House Manager, Head Butler, a Senior Housekeeper and three Housekeepers. The family have small dogs so you must be pet-friendly.
The housekeeping duties will include cleaning, tidying, laundry and ironing. This role would be ideal for someone who has experience working with delicate materials and surfaces.
Duties to include:
1. Full hands-on housekeeping, maintaining all areas of the property to the highest standard
2. Cleaning, tidying, and organisation of rooms and communal spaces
3. Laundry, ironing, and careful handling of delicate fabrics and surfaces
4. Assisting with ad hoc household tasks as required
5. Driving duties when necessary
6. Must be friendly and comfortable working around pets
The ideal candidate would have extremely high attention to detail and would have had experience working in private households and checkable references
Accommodation: One bedroom self contained flat. No partner or pets.
Working hours: 8 to 4pm Mostly Monday to Friday with occasional weekends
Salary: £40 000 per annum
