Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care within a busy medical practice. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to utilise their clinical skills and contribute positively to patient wellbeing. The Practice Nurse will work closely with GPs and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and efficient patient services.
Responsibilities
* Provide direct patient care, including baby vaccinations, smears, and chronic disease management
* Support patients through health education and advice on lifestyle modifications
* Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with data protection regulations
* Participate in clinical audits and continuous professional development activities
Requirements
* Proven experience in patient care within a general practice or similar healthcare setting
* Hold a certificate in the following areas ; Asthma, COPD, Diabetes, Smears
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
* Compassionate approach with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Relevant nursing qualification recognised by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or equivalent regulatory body
* Commitment to maintaining up-to-date clinical knowledge through ongoing professional development
