Make a positive difference to local children. We’re looking for community-minded volunteers to join our Governing Body and help us continue to thrive. What governors do Set strategic direction: champion our vision, values and ethos; agree priorities for school improvement. Hold leaders to account: ask thoughtful questions about teaching, learning, achievement, behaviour and safety. Oversee finances: ensure our budget is well managed and resources match pupils’ needs. You don’t need to be an education expert. We welcome people from all backgrounds who have: an interest in local education and pupils’ outcomes an open, enquiring mind and the confidence to ask constructive questions the ability to work well with others and make balanced decisions some time to attend meetings each term and visit school occasionally We’re especially keen to hear from people with experience in finance, HR, safeguarding/SEND, legal, estates, IT/data, or marketing/communications, but this is not essential.
