About the Role
Dalkia UK has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Facilities Manager to join our team, supporting operations at our newly refurbished training centre and administrative offices in Sizewell.
In this key role, you will support the efficient delivery of facilities services across the site. You’ll manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM), ensure statutory compliance, and lead cost-saving initiatives. Acting as deputy to the Facilities Manager, you will play a vital part in the day-to-day management of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the first point of contact for the client, employees, and visitors
* Coordinate and manage site facilities teams and subcontractors
* Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and statutory regulations
* Deliver services in line with contractual SLAs and KPIs, exceeding client expectations
* Handle administrative tasks, including invoicing and raising purchase orders
* Build strong stakeholder relationships and gain a deep understanding of client needs
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in a similar facilities or operations management role
* Knowledge of facilities management practices and compliance standards
* Strong customer service skills in a client-facing environment
* Proven ability to lead teams and manage contractors
