A well-resourced secondary school is seeking a Design & Technology Teacher to join its established department. The role involves teaching across KS3 and KS4, with potential KS5 opportunities depending on specialism (Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering or Graphics).
The school is looking for a teacher who can deliver practical and theory-based lessons confidently, ensuring high standards of safety and engagement in workshop environments.

£163 – £ per day | PAYE | Dependent on experience

Key responsibilities
6. Deliver engaging and safe practical DT lessons
7. Prepare students effectively for GCSE (and A-Level where applicable)
8. Monitor progress and provide targeted support
9. Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment
The ideal candidate
10. QTS (or equivalent)
11. Experience teaching Design & Technology at secondary level
12. Confident managing workshop environments and H&S procedures
13. Strong classroom management skills
