We are working in partnership with an award-winning West Midlands based organisation who currently have a requirement for a Cashbook/Treasury Officer on a temporary 3 month basis.
Based in Birmingham, it is a full time position requiring office presence 2 days per week. The hourly rate on offer is £18 per hour Umbrella and the position is due to start in March.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
1. Posting remittances to correct customer accounts
2. Dealing with cashbook postings and reconciliations
3. Handling all banking administration and reconciliations
4. Assisting with month end activities
5. Identifying any potentially suspicious payments and calling customers for anti-money laundering purposes
6. Contributing to the creation and subsequent implementation of new initiatives with the objective of improving revenue, efficiencies, and customer satisfaction
Experience, skills & knowledge required:
7. Experience using Excel with the ability to do VLOOKUPs & Pivot Tables
8. Confident in conducting high volumes of bank and balance sheet reconciliations
Working hours:
9. 37.5 hours per week
10. Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
