Job Overview
Telford's Coaches Ltd are seeking professional and reliable School Bus Drivers working from the Brampton area operating into William Howard School. The ideal candidates will possess good communication skills, be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while ensuring a high level of customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work locally in the North Cumbria or S. W. Scotland area. Hours are approx per week and pay £18 - £24 p/h. Responsibilities
* Safely operate mini buses or midi coaches on scheduled school routes, adhering to traffic laws and company policies
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and cleanliness
* Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents or maintenance needs
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and passengers, providing timely updates or assistance as needed
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company procedures during daily operations
Qualifications
* Valid Cat D bus driver's licence with no more than 6 points
* Valid CPC card or wiling to complete a refresher course, company funded
* Experience in commercial driving within minibus or coach operation
* Strong driving skills with the ability to handle various road conditions safely
* Good communication skills, capable of interacting professionally with passengers and team members
