Role: In House Residential Conveyancer

Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 + Bonus

The Opportunity
CRA Consulting is delighted to be working in partnership with a well-known and highly regarded Sheffield-based house builder to recruit a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor or Legal Executive into their growing in-house legal team. This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for an experienced residential conveyancer looking to step away from the pressures of traditional private practice and move into an in-house environment offering better work-life balance, a collaborative team culture, and long-term career stability. You will be joining an established, supportive team handling high-quality residential conveyancing matters connected to new build developments and plot sales. For individuals with experience in new build conveyancing or plot sales, this role offers a fantastic chance to use your technical skills within a commercial developer setting whilst avoiding many of the pressures associated with private practice.

What you'll be doing
* Managing a caseload of residential conveyancing matters relating to new build developments and plot sales
* Assisting with the legal process from reservation through to completion
* Liaising with panel solicitors, buyers, lenders and internal departments
* Supporting the wider legal team with development-related conveyancing work
* Reviewing legal documentation and ensuring transactions progress efficiently
* Providing commercially focused legal support to the business
* Working closely with sales and operational teams to help drive smooth completions
What they're looking for
* Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or experienced Residential Conveyancer
* Strong residential conveyancing experience
* Experience handling new build transactions and plot sales would be highly advantageous
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
