Our Client is a community owned company and a Community Economic Development Organisation. They are recruiting a passionate and skilled Development Officer to support their Board in order to develop a c 6 hectare site to meet the wider needs of the local community. Job Purpose: The role will focus on project development, strategic partnership and community engagement, ensuring that the organisation continues to meet its mission of fostering economic empowerment and sustainable growth within the community. Full or part time will be considered for the successful candidate. Key Responsibilities: Community Engagement & Stakeholder relations Develop Grant applications Project Development & Management Qualifications & Skills: A third level qualification in Community Economic Development, Rural Development, Business Administration & management, or a related field Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a non-profit community development, or economic development organisation. Experience in fundraising, grant writing and community engagement is required.
