Job Description
As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing within early years settings.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting children's learning through play and structured activities
* Promoting children's physical, emotional, and social development
* Maintaining a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
* Supporting the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
* Building positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
* Observing, monitoring, and recording children's progress
* Adhering to safeguarding, health and safety, and setting policies at all times
Person SpecificationEssential
* Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education
* Valid Paediatric First Aid Certificate
* Good understanding of the EYFS framework
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable
* Previous experience working within nurseries, schools, or children's centres
* Experience supporting children from birth to five years
* Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child development
* Flexibility and adaptability across different settings
