What will you be doing?
Pentagon Lincoln Mazda, are looking for an experienced Motor Industry professional to identify, based on individual suitability and requirements, appropriate funding and insurance options for customers and meet agreed profitability targets.
As a Company, we place a strong focus on customer care and satisfaction which is paramount to meet and exceed sales targets. Your excellent interpersonal skills will ensure that the department has a strong customer focus and you must therefore be an excellent communicator who is firm, fair, assertive and highly professional.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Leading, coaching, and developing a team of Sales Consultants.
2. Using data analytics and industry analytics to identify trends and explore new ways to do business.
3. Forecasting weekly to determine performance to budget.
4. Seek opportunities to gain conquest business through commercial policies and marketing plans.
5. Managing the departmental profit and loss account to increase operating profit.
6. Ensure manufacturers standards are met, audit compliance and training requirements.
7. Track activity, enquiry levels, opportunities to do business and report to the General Manager.
The working hours for this role are 45 hours per week as per the sales rota. Sundays are one of the planned weekly days off.
Who are we looking for?
The Successful Candidate will have:
1. Proven experience of developing teams.
2. Knowledge of management accounts.
3. Previous automotive management experience.
4. Ability to organise, prioritise and reprioritise workloads.
5. Demonstrate and ensure compliance with our operating processes as well as industry regulations and legislation.
6. Lead by example and motivate the team, ensuring that this is demonstrated throughout the department, irrespective of the volume of work within the department at any one time.
7. Up to date knowledge of vehicle legislation, consumer legislation and trade practices with strong, relevant and practical knowledge of modern business methods and controls.
8. Strong effective communication skills both written and verbal.
9. Exceptional customer service skills.
10. Hold a full, UK driving licence.
The successful applicant must agree to a Basic Disclosure under the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) procedures. Employment will be offered to the successful applicant subject to a satisfactory Disclosure report.
