We’re looking for kind, reliable Care Assistants to support people in their own homes - helping them feel safe, respected, and able to live life as independently as possible. This is a role built on trust, compassion, and human connection. It’s about more than tasks - it’s about presence, patience, and making someone’s day a little brighter.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Personal Care (delivered with dignity and respect)
o Helping clients get up, dressed, and ready for the day
o Supporting with washing, bathing, showering, and personal hygiene
o Assisting with medication where required
o Supporting with mobility, pressure care, and comfort
o Helping with continence care and specialist personal care needs
* Nutritional & Domestic Support
o Preparing meals and drinks that suit individual tastes and needs
o Light household tasks to help maintain a comfortable home
o Laundry, bedding changes, washing up, and basic cleaning
o Supporting with grocery shopping
* Social & Emotional Care
o Offering companionship, conversation, and reassurance
o Helping clients stay connected with family, friends, and the community
o Supporting attendance at appointments, clubs, or day centres
* Flexible Hours That Fit Around You
o Between 16 and 40 hours per week
o A variety of shifts depending on client needs
o Opportunities for both part-time and full-time work
* Training, Growth & Support
o Role-specific training relevant to the care you’ll provide
o Ongoing guidance and support from coordinators and managers
o Opportunities to develop skills and grow in confidence
o The chance to support and mentor others as you gain experience
Some Care Assistants may also support quality checks, mentoring, and introductions for new team members, helping maintain high standards of care across the service.
