IAM Business Analyst Role Type: Contract Duration: 6 Months Day Rate: £510 (Inside IR35) Location: Reading (Hybrid - 4 days in office) We are seeking a Senior IAM Business Analyst with proven expertise in Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) and Access Management (AM), with Privileged Access Management (PAM) knowledge considered advantageous. This role requires a highly credible professional who can engage with senior management (VP level and above), influence decisions regarding the IAM Target Operating Model (TOM), and secure agreement on accountability and responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Support Target Operating Model (TOM) discussions at the operational level, defining IAM processes that align with organizational objectives. Design, document, and standardize IAM processes, ensuring clarity in roles and responsibilities using RACI frameworks. Identify resource requirements to support IAM processes and activities effectively. Gather, analyse, and validate business and technical requirements for IAM initiatives. Design and manage identity lifecycle processes, including SSO, MFA, and workflow configurations. Provide training and knowledge transfer to teams and stakeholders on IAM processes. Produce comprehensive process documentation, blueprints, and operational guides. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the implementation of IAM solutions. Recommend improvements and support adoption of IAM best practices. Required Skills & Experience Extensive experience as a Business Analyst in IAM projects. Strong knowledge of IAM security standards and regulatory requirements. Hands-on experience in IGA, AM, and PAM process design and implementation. Proficient in identity lifecycle management, SSO, MFA, and workflow automation. Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders. Experience creating and documenting requirements, processes, and procedures. Knowledge of IAM tools and platforms, including Microsoft Entra ID, SailPoint (IQ & NERM), CIAM, CyberArk. Ability to deliver training and workshops to business and technical teams. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
