We are seeking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a well-established and highly respected company within the Construction sector.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Subcontractor ledger - invoice processing, CIS returns.
* Processing weekly BACS payments.
* Accounts payable.
* Accounts receivable.
* Cash Management.
* Bank Reconciliations.
* Dealing with general enquiries.
* Year-end processes and assisting Auditors.
* System maintenance and development.
* Assistance with costings.
* Other ad-hoc accounts and administrative tasks as required.
Skills, Attributes & Qualifications:
* Ability to positively contribute within a small friendly finance team working in a demanding environment.
* A professional attitude with excellent organisational skills to prioritise own workload.
* A thorough, methodical, and logical approach demonstrating problem solving skills to complete tasks when required.
* Accurate data entry skills demonstrating a high level of diligence.
* Actively seek ways to enhance your knowledge and contribute and support the team looking for continuous process improvements.
* Have a positive can-do attitude.
* Previous experience in the construction industry and dealing with subcontractors would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
