BSL Teaching Assistant Middlesbrough Immediate Start - Long term position We are currently recruiting on behalf of a mainstream school in Middlesbrough for a BSL Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a deaf student. The ideal candidate will hold at least a Level 2 BSL qualification and have a passion for supporting students in a mainstream classroom setting. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 support to a hearing impaired student, ensuring they can fully access the curriculum and participate in classroom activities. Support the student with communication needs, including using BSL to facilitate their understanding of lessons. Help the student develop key skills in language, reading, writing, spelling, and mathematics.
