We are expanding our team and are looking for a dedicated and proactive School Finance Officer to provide essential support to our client schools throughout Cambridgeshire. This is a full-time position with hours 8.00 am to 4.00 pm, Monday to Friday, and opportunities available to contribute to a thriving educational community.

Responsibilities
* Be a point of contact with parents for all fee queries and related matters
* Prepare termly invoices for academic fees and extras such as lunches and wrap-around care, adhering to strict deadlines
* Work with the Admissions Department to maintain an accurate pupil roll
* Liaise with the Admissions team, Database Manager and Office teams to create new pupil records in SIMS (the school’s pupil database)
* Reconcile bills to ensure completeness and accuracy
* Assist with the processing of purchase orders and payment of invoices
* Keep accurate records of pupils opting for lunches and update the catering team of lunch numbers every half term
* Ensure the Admissions Register (pupil database) is maintained in compliance with ISI regulatory standards
* Assist in delivering the project to move to electronic invoicing

Main Requirements / Qualifications
* Previous experience working with school database software (SIMS) is desirable but not essential
* Experience of finance systems and processes preferred
* Outstanding organising and analytical skills
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* Enhanced DBS on the update service
* Attention to detail and accuracy are paramount
* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written; a warm and engaging telephone manner
* Competence in standard office software (Word, Outlook and Excel) essential
* 2 proven relevant experience
