Job Purpose To diagnose, repair and service a wide range of motorbikes to a high technical standard, ensuring safety, reliability and excellent customer satisfaction. The Motorbike Mechanic will be responsible for carrying out scheduled maintenance, fault-finding, engine work, electrical diagnostics, and performance adjustments in line with manufacturer guidelines. Key Responsibilities * Perform routine servicing, inspections and maintenance on motorbikes. * Accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate tools and equipment. * Carry out engine repairs, rebuilds, clutch work, brakes, suspension and tuning tasks. * Fit and balance tyres, chains, sprockets, brake pads, batteries and other components. * Complete pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) for new or used bikes. * Maintain accurate records of all work completed, parts used and labour times. * Adhere to health and safety standards, ensuring a clean and well-organised workspace. * Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs, issues and recommended work. * Assist in ordering parts and ensuring stock levels are maintained. * Follow manufacturer procedures, warranty requirements and workshop quality standards. * Test-ride motorbikes (where authorised) to verify repairs and performance.
