Position: Senior BI & Insights Analyst
Location: Remote
Salary: Up to £50,000 (DOE)

As our Senior BI & Insights Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of Knovia’s analytics evolution—designing, delivering, and optimising BI solutions that shape the way we operate across finance, compliance, people, customer experience, product, marketing, and sales.
The Senior BI & Insights Analyst will own the design, delivery, and optimisation of BI and analytics solutions that enhance business performance across finance, compliance, people, customer experience, product, marketing, and sales.
This role blends technical expertise, business acumen, and strategic influence, turning complex data into actionable insights, predictive models, and decision-focused dashboards. You will drive adoption of analytics, guide business stakeholders, and contribute to the organisation’s data platform and AI capabilities, moving the business away from siloed Excel reporting toward a scalable, centralised analytics culture.

Key responsibilities include:
. Lead end-to-end BI and analytics projects from problem definition to solution deployment
. Design dashboards, reporting frameworks, and analytic methodologies that deliver measurable business value
. Partner with stakeholders at all levels to understand challenges, define KPIs, and translate requirements into actionable insights
. Measure the impact and ROI of analytics solutions on business outcomes
. Work with Salesforce, NetSuite, HR, finance, and operational systems
. Partner with data engineering to ensure high-quality, governed, and scalable data pipelines
. Lead workshops, insight playbacks, and training sessions to enhance data literacy across teams
. Produce documentation, training materials, and self-service guidance to replace siloed Excel reporting with scalable BI solutions
. Ensure analytics solutions comply with GDPR, security, and internal governance standards
. Optimise existing dashboards and reports
. Introduce analytics best practices and emerging tools

What we need from you:
• Expertise in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik, or equivalent)
• Strong SQL skills; experience with Python or R desirable
• Experience with data modelling (dimensional, star schema, semantic layers)
• Knowledge of data pipelines, ETL tools, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, GCP)
• Strong business acumen; able to translate strategy into analytics solutions
• Proven track record of delivering insights that drive measurable business impact
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and solution design capabilities
