This critical role involves taking full ownership of creating, maintaining and validating Building Safety Cases for all Higher‑Risk Buildings (HRBs) and managing essential intrusive investigations and complex remediation projects end‑to‑end. You will proactively address safety concerns, implement solutions and lead a forward‑thinking team committed to ensuring customer safety and peace of mind.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Proactively track industry changes, policy developments and emerging risks; source, trail and procure cost‑effective products and innovative technologies that reduce risk.
* Direct and manage a programme of complex, intrusive structural and fire investigations across Golding Homes housing stock; analyse data to inform and integrate remedial actions into the wider capital works programme.

* Proven leadership experience in managing and motivating multi‑disciplinary teams, delivering complex, high‑impact projects within strict deadlines and budgets.
* Substantial hands‑on, relevant industry experience and detailed knowledge of the construction sector or a repairs and maintenance environment, ideally within a high‑risk building context.
* Demonstrable track record of creating, implementing and embedding innovative, organisation‑wide Building Safety strategies that have enhanced business compliance, safety culture and operational efficiency.
* Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills, enabling effective liaison with diverse stakeholders, senior leadership, residents and regulatory bodies.
* Basic DBS and a full clean driving licence.
