We are a well-established 3-branch small animal clinic on the outskirts of Edinburgh.
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time veterinary surgeon to join our team in Penicuik. Penicuik is a branch surgery consisting of 1 RVN and 5 Veterinary surgeons (part-time) working alongside a 3-person administration/reception team.
Our practice is well-equipped with digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound (including echo) and in-house lab. We offer laparoscopic spays and orthopaedic surgeries at our main surgery in Musselburgh. Client and patient care are our main focus and we do that by offering a friendly and supportive environment to work in.
We have a wide variety of cases and the role will involve a mixture of surgery and routine consultations along with routine diagnostic case workups. We have a great balance of experienced vets and RVNs and those who are more recently qualified.
Hours of work are 40 hours per week currently worked as a 4-day week. Part-time would be considered. The role also involves 1 in 7 weekends (daytime only) with a day given off in lieu for a weekend worked in line with our work-life balance ethos. Our out of hours work is outsourced locally.
