Shift times: 0800-1530 & 1200-1930 Mon-Fri, Weekends on rotation 0900-1830 with lieu days Mon & Fri
Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a FOH General Assistant/Kitchen Porter in their Defence sector to be a part of our integral team at Dreghorn Barracks, Edinburgh.
As a FOH General Assistant/Kitchen Porter, you will mainly be working front‑of‑house. You will support day‑to‑day operations by serving food and beverages to our customers, along with till work, cleaning dining areas and supporting both front and back‑of‑house areas. You will provide excellent customer service and report to the General Manager on site.
Responsibilities
* Serve food and beverages to customers, ensuring all health and safety protocols are adhered to and excellent customer service is always provided.
* Stock up, stock rotation, facing up, spot cleaning, cleaning dining and serving areas, both front and back of house.
* Operate the till and process cash and card payments, ensuring financial records are processed accordingly. Serve on food counters and upsell products/sizes.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Previous customer facing / food service experience is desirable; full training will be given on site.
* Must be 18+.
* Must be eligible to work in the UK and have resided for longer than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role.
* Must have reliable transport due to the location of the site and limited public transport.
