We're currently recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to join a busy marina and boatyard operation on the Jurassic Coast. It’s a varied position combining customer-facing duties, office-based administration, and practical coordination of boatyard activity. You’ll be based mainly within the marina office, but you’ll also need to be comfortable spending time in the yard supporting and coordinating daily operations, particularly around vessel movements. Key responsibilities Coordinating boat movements including lifts, launches, and yard relocations Supporting the Boatyard Manager with day-to-day operational administration Handling customer enquiries in person, over the phone, and at the counter Booking and updating vessel movements and associated records Providing general administrative support to ensure smooth yard operations Working closely with the yard team during busy periods to keep operations running efficiently Supporting seasonal peaks in activity, particularly during winter maintenance and lift/launch periodsWe’re looking for someone with a strong customer service mindset, a proactive attitude, and the ability to stay organised in a busy, hands-on environment.
