An SC cleared Network Test Specialist is required for an initial 6 month contract. This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week on site in Telford and is inside IR35 so will require working via an FCSA accredited umbrella company.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Working in a collaborative agile environment Test automation for data and analytics platforms, including SAS Viya 4.
* Assuring the appropriate tool selection for both business and technical needs; setting the strategy and approach for both UI and System Integration based automation; knowledge of REST APIs and testing API endpoints; scripting skills in Python, Shell, or similar languages and associated frameworks; experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jenkins, GitLab).
* Data management and profiling.
* Setting test direction for the automation team; strong communication and stakeholder management skills; strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Desirable Experience:
* Familiarity with SAS Viya architecture and components (VA, ID, CAS, etc.).
* Understanding of containerised environments and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
