Purpose of the role - Supplier Liaison Team;
Accurately validate and process invoices, reconcile statements, work from finance register, communicate with suppliers via multiple contact channels to ensure timely payments are made to our supplier. Working closely with Sales Ledger, Credit Control, Commissions, Account Management, and Operations.
Accountabilities
* Aaccurately validate and process invoices, reconcile statements, work from finance register, communicate with suppliers via multiple contact channels to ensure timely payments to suppliers.
* Deliver customer service excellence through accuracy and quality
* Effectively resolve supplier queries, escalating where appropriate
* Assist in the management of escalations and offer resolution for ongoing queries
* Achieve and exceed agreed operational KPIs and SLAs
* Work with the operational management team and the People Engagement and Development Team to meet the agreed people management guidelines
* Attend recommended training sessions, courses and educational familiarization trips
* Provide training for new starters to the team and assist in the ongoing coaching of the team
* To support colleagues with customer, supplier and product knowledge
* To support the team manager with the management of absenteeism, holidays and overtime.
* In conjunction with your team manager develop, mentor, coach and train appropriate talent to ensure succession planning and talent retention
Essential
For this role you must of started or finished a AAT Qualification
* Computer literate with experience of Microsoft office.
* Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to follow instructions.
* The ability to work within a team environment to achieve team/department objectives
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadline
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Very high attention to detail and organisational skills
* Excellent knowledge of Word and Excel – creating and maintaining documents
