About You
* Hold a degree or postgraduate qualification
* Demonstrate at least two years\' experience in community planning, good relations, PCSP, community development, or related functions, with leadership and partnership working skills
* Have a full UK driving licence and access to suitable transport, or an alternative that meets role requirements
* Show a sound understanding of legislative frameworks relevant to community services
* Possess excellent communication, organisational, and collaboration skills
What You\'ll Do
* Act as a primary contact for local communities, elected members, and partner agencies to address issues and promote engagement
* Lead and oversee activities within community centres, increasing participation and footfall
* Develop and implement DEA Cluster Action Plans tailored to local needs, fostering multi-agency collaboration
* Build relationships with funding bodies, statutory agencies, and community groups to secure resources and promote initiatives
* Manage budgets, provide reports, and monitor service delivery to achieve community priorities
* Support staff and volunteers, ensuring high performance and adherence to policies and safety standards
* Promote the organisation\'s core values of inclusion, equality, and good governance across all activities
